About Alison Negrin:

Alison is a professional chef with over 40 years of experience managing kitchens, developing menus, and creating recipes. Her work evolved to focus on nutrition and “Food as Medicine” as Executive Chef for the John Muir Health System, where she built strong hospital connections. Alison has taught culinary arts at Treasure Island Job Corps, City College, and Diablo Valley College. She serves on the Board of Culinary Angels and has held leadership board roles for other organizations including the Wellness City Challenge Board. Through her work, Alison has developed strong ties with local nonprofits addressing food and housing insecurity and has a deep passion in helping seniors and the Meals on Wheels Diablo Region mission.
