A Matter of Balance
A Matter of Balance is an evidence‑based program that combines gentle exercises with group discussion to help older adults reduce their fear of falling and build confidence, strength, mobility, and balance. Each week builds on the last, introducing new strategies that support long‑term success.
- Classes meet in person once a week for two hours over 8 weeks
- Participants are expected to attend all sessions
- Workbooks and materials are provided
- Class size limited to 16; minimum of 8 required
- Space is limited—early registration encouraged
- Register through the hosting Senior Center or event site

On the Move
This 12‑week, evidence-based exercise program improves walking and balance through fun, brain‑engaging movement sequences. Each session builds on the last, helping participants develop smoother, more efficient walking and new strategies for better mobility.

Bingocize®
Bingocize® is a fun way to exercise and enjoy bingo at the same time! This 10-week program increases physical activity and reduces sedentary behavior, and promotes social engagement.

ENHANCE® FITNESS
Enhance® Fitness is an arthritis-friendly evidence-based group exercise and falls prevention program that is proven to support older adults at all levels of fitness and mobility. Each class session focuses on four key areas important to the well-being and function of participants: low impact cardiovascular exercise; dynamic/static balance work, strength training with weights; and stretching.

Tai Chi For Arthritis
MOW Diablo Region offers Tai Chi for older adults. This low impact, gentle form of exercise helps older adults improve flexibility, strength, balance, and range of motion. Tai Chi is adaptable and safe for people of all ages and stages of health.

Young at Heart
Young at Heart Strength Training; a Fall Prevention Program is an evidence-based fall prevention program. This class can be done seated or standing. Participants can expect improved balance, strength, reduced number of falls, reduced stress, improved mental health, social engagement, and increased energy level.
