Meet our Auctioneer - Ellen Toscano, the singing auctioneer!
We are happy to welcome back for our 3rd year, the wonderful Ellen Toscano.
A stage performer her entire life, California-based auctioneer Ellen Toscano graduated with a
BFA in drama and music from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts then went on to perform for 10
years in the world's longest running musical review, San Francisco’s “Beach Blanket Babylon”
where she played dozens of characters including Carmen Miranda, Chiquita Banana, Britney
Spears, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Cher, Barbra
Streisand, Nancy Pelosi, Sarah Palin and many, many more. Other favorite performing
experiences include: playing the title role of “Evita" with Sonoma Arts Live, performing with
Transcendence Theater Company's "Broadway Under the Stars" series, singing at several SF
Giants games including the 2014 World Series, performing with the SF Symphony, SF Gay
Men’s Chorus, ACT, and working with actors John Cleese and Gina Rodriguez. Most recently,
she can be seen around the Bay Area in a commercial for Sonoma Hot Tubs & Pool Supplies
and works on ongoing music projects in the recording studio.
Upon leaving her decade-long run at “Beach Blanket Babylon,” Ellen began her work as a
fundraising consultant, charity auctioneer and MC in 2016 combining her two greatest
passions: performing and helping serve others in the community to make a positive impact.
One of the most sought after fundraising auctioneers in the U.S., Ellen has and continues to
raise tens of millions of dollars annually for hundreds of events for nonprofits throughout
California and across the nation. Known as "The Singing Auctioneer," she's even been known
to bust out a song or two during an event - often to help raise more money! Ellen has recently
been recognized as Paybee's 2025 Bid Master Champion and voted the #1 Premier Benefit
Auctioneer in the United States for the 2nd consecutive year. When she's not on stage
wearing her signature sequined outfits, Ellen is also a certified Reiki Master Teacher and
