What Does A Friendly Helper Do?
When seniors can no longer drive and lack resources to navigate ride sharing or public transportation, their ability to complete basic, necessary errands is limited. Our Friendly Helpers program provides rides to essential errands such as the grocery store, medical appointments or pharmacy pick up.
When you sign up to be a Friendly Helper volunteer, you help them feel connected, supported, and cared for.
More specifically, your help can make them feel:
