J.R.(Jim) Donnelly spent over 45 years providing consulting services internationally in the Health, Safety, and Environmental fields. He has been the President and Board member for the Institute for Professional Environmental Practice. He has also served in leadership roles on the Air and Waste Management Association’s Technical and Education Councils.
Jim has a long history of volunteering. He served as Vice President for the Contra Costa County Advisory Council on Aging, Chair for the Contra Costa County Advisory Committee on Integrated Pest Management, Chair of the County Connection Advisory Committee, Commissioner for the Danville Senior Advisory Commission, and Conference Chair for the AAA/ACOA Contra Costa Conference on Aging 2020. He also volunteers as a Matter of Balance Coach for Meals on Wheels Diablo Region, driver for Mobility Matters, and is a member of the Senior Mobility Action Council.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, and a Master’s degree in Leadership from Saint Mary’s College. He currently resides in Danville.
